By Don7tk
Hi all! this is my first post here. Hope you all appreciate this.
Today, I am going to discuss about few simple, yet effective ways to attract traffic to any newly created Blog or Website. I believe every newly creation requires extra care, just like a newly born baby! Treat your blog/website as your children. Care them, give them enough time to grow them up successfully.
So let's start without further adieu...
1. Your Contents must be unique, recently Google has changed it's policy to its search engines, so that no matter how good you are in optimizing, if you copied content from others, they (search results) will not indexed your site before the original publisher.
2. Submit your site as well as contents (urls) to all major search engines like Google, Yahoo! Bing, Altavista etc. If you have resides in any country that have any other major search engine, submit there too...
3. Backlinks: Creating quality back links is another key to drive traffics...so search for quality blogs on your niche & start comment on that with a link to your blog/site.
4. Submit your creation to Digg, Stumble Upon & other major bookmarking cum content sharing sites.
5. Utilize Facebook as it has over 500 million users, create a fan page by either your name (if you are know to your readers) or by your page's name.
6. Unleash the Twitter Power: Tweet frequently, it's very important these days. Hope you know the name of Mashable, I wonder though they are one of the biggies, still they tweet almost every hour. because if they not! People might forget them soon...
7. Create RSS Feed for your blog, its hard to remember your sites url & check back all the time, but if you offer RSS feeds, that will let the subscriber whenever you publish a new post.
8. Whenever I visit ProBlogger (must visit if you want to monetize your blog/site), I see new posts by some guest authors, they are talented & sites like this gives them quality numbers of backlinks.
9. Try to interact in the popular forums of your niche. (digital Point is one of the most popular forum regarding adsense & monetizing).
10. Use offline promotions as well, remember online site doesn't mean you have to promote through online only, ask your friends, join blogger meets in your city etc...
Hope you like my first list of advises. it's classically for those who doesn't want to spend money on Google AdWords or similar programs but want lots of traffics.
